REPowering the EU with Hydrogen Valleys” on 1 March in Autoworld in Brussels.

Hydrogen is one of the priority areas where market-ready technologies are needed to accelerate the phasing out of fossil fuels.

Hydrogen Valleys are geographical areas where the EU hydrogen economy works at local level and includes citizens. Hydrogen Valleys contribute to the REPowerEU objectives by scaling up green hydrogen production and supply to meet the growing demand from industry, transport and other sectors.

For Europe to remain a frontrunner in rolling out Hydrogen Valleys, the European hydrogen industry, scientific community, and European regions, together with the European Commission, need to step up and accelerate joint actions.

The event was organised by the European Commission’s Directorate General for Research and Innovation, and supported by Hydrogen Europe, Hydrogen Europe Research and the Clean Hydrogen Partnership.
